Another new monster (hasn't been shaded yet)

First off, the Undine bug has been fixed. Sorry for the delay, I thought it was already fixed in the last patch. You can get that here. https://www.mediafire.com/?2s253d3nge73m4d

Now, I did say I would post when to expect the game to be ready in a few weeks. I'm planning to have Part 3 completed this year. If I don't have it ready to go by then, I'm probably just going to release what I have and then release what's left within the next few months. So expect a new release in December.

If you haven't guessed already, Part 3 is much, much bigger than the other two. If I had to give a rough estimate, it's at least 5 times bigger than Parts 1 and 2 put together.

A lot of people are probably wondering why it's taken so long. There were a lot of problems that came up, both with the game itself and in my life. I don't want to talk about it any more than that, because it'll seem like I'm just making up excuses, and I don't think anyone's interested in reading that.

That's it for now.

Good news? I think.

I didn't have time to draw something new, so here's a crop of an Ilias picture my friend sent me.

New post.

I know I've been pretty much dead these last few weeks, and I can only apologize for that. I was just really busy and didn't have free time for anything.

But that's over now. So I'm going to be working on NG+ much more within the next few months. CGs, h-scenes, battles, etc. Things should go relatively smoothly for the foreseeable future. I'll go through and reply to any unanswered questions on the last blog post as soon as I post this.

Anyway, there's another problem that needs to be dealt with. People keep reporting that they're getting a bug where Undine disappears from their skill list after they obtain her in part 2. The problem is, this bug should be fixed in the latest build (8/1). I'm going to go through and test it one more time, but it should be okay. If you are experiencing the bug and you aren't running the latest build of NG+, please download the 8/1 patch and apply it to your game. This will hopefully fix the problem.

In the future, if you need to report a bug, please say what version of the game you're playing (the date of the build should be on the window when you open the game up, so the latest would be 8/1/2016). This will help me keep track of what's been fixed and what still needs to be fixed. Unfortunately, I can't set it up so the game automatically updates, so everyone will be running a potentially different build.

That's it for now.

Sketch for a new monster (and it's not even a trap! 8D )

New post.

Part 3's main story, save for a couple scenes here and there, is done. I'm working on finishing up the battles next.

I'm probably going to wrap up development in this order.

- Main Story (pretty much done)
- Battles (working on)
- Towns
- Camps
- H-scenes
- CGs (will probably be working on these throughout)
- Extra things (Monsterpedia, namely)

Now, my semester ends next month, so the pace should pick up significantly throughout the summer. I'm also sick of this thing not being finished yet, so that should help move things along. The main thing I'm concerned about right now is the CG.

I don't really have a problem with drawing out the CG that still needs to be made, but there are also a couple new areas in Part 3 that were never explored in the original MGQ. New areas should (ideally) have new monsters. But I'm not sure how people would feel about random new monsters being made for the game. Keep in mind, they would have little to no relevance to the main plot. They would just be there to fill out some areas, and as an excuse to have more sexy monster girls to fight and get raped by. And also, none of them would be traps. Ever. 8D

So, I was hoping I could get some input on this, whether people would be okay with me drawing new monsters for the game. I could just do what I did with Ririmu and Koakuma and take Monster Girl Encyclopedia monsters. But I really hate just taking artwork and using it like that, even if I'm not selling it.

That's all. See you next month.

Getting closer

Who's that Pokemon...again.

Main story's almost done. Just needs testing. I'll finish up the towns and camps next, then fights, then H-scenes, then I'll just draw the remaining CGif I canand make the Monsterpedia entries.
Still gonna be awhile, but progress has picked up at least.

Working on more stuff still

Who's that Pokemon

Progress on NG+ is still going fairly smoothly. There's still a lot of work to do, but I'm slowly getting through it. I've mentioned it before, but I do have a release date in mind for it (finally).

Unfortunately, this makes updating the blog awkward. There's a lot of stuff planned for this part (after all this time, there'd better be). But I don't want to say anything because I don't want to spoil any of it. I don't like making "nothing" updates to the blog, but I figured I should post something. So...something.

You might as well rename the game to Succubus Girl Quest at the rate we're going here.

Working on more stuff.

New move sets.

Quick update with screenshot. I'm still working on it consistently, even with other problems going on. I've mostly been adding fights and game mechanics for the last week, but it's still something.

The screenshot's just a test fight I set up. It lets you beat up Amira with debug stats to make sure that moves work correctly, damage is calculated properly, etc.

That's all for now.

Problem.

Waifu2x Power

Well, sort of.

I won't go into any details, but due to certain home problems, I'm planning to move somewhere else soon. Because of these problems, it's making it very difficult to work on NG+ at the moment. I should be able to work on it a lot over Christmastime. But after that, I have no idea. Sorry I don't have better news.

On the development side, I'm working on getting each party member a moveset of their own. That way you can use them in battle like you can with the knights. That should be available in the next released update.
